Who doesn’t love the Muppets? In fact, if you don’t love them, I don’t think I’d want to know you.
But today, I love them even more. Why? They’ve announced that they are cutting ties with the Chick-Fil-A company, after that organization’s CEO boasted that he was quite proud of his company’s involvement in discriminating against gay people.
When you think about it, the Muppets are all about fairness and equality. Look no further than Kermit and Miss Piggy. A frog and a pig; a “non-traditional” couple if ever there was one. Yet as these clips show, their love shines through. The Muppets know that love is love. If only more humans realized that.

I was recently fired from my job. Does it feel good? No. But honestly, it just wasn’t a good fit for me, and I’m starting to think it’s one of the best things that has happened to me. It has pushed me into trying new and different things–like this blog for example.
