What’s Fabulicious today? The Muppets stand up for GLBT equality.

Who doesn’t love the Muppets? In fact, if you don’t love them, I don’t think I’d want to know you.

But today, I love them even more. Why? They’ve announced that they are cutting ties with the Chick-Fil-A company, after that organization’s CEO boasted that he was quite proud of his company’s involvement in discriminating against gay people.

When you think about it, the Muppets are all about fairness and equality. Look no further than Kermit and Miss Piggy. A frog and a pig; a “non-traditional” couple if ever there was one. Yet as these clips show, their love shines through. The Muppets know that love is love. If only more humans realized that.

What’s Fabulicious today? Nature. And gratitude.

Behold the amazing work of a gifted time-lapsed photographer, and drink in the perceptive words of a smart little girls and a wise old man. Have you looked outside your window today, and noticed the sky and the wonders around you? Take a look. And be grateful.

What’s Fabulicious today? Failure.

Lucille Ball was let go from acting school. They told her she was wasting her time.

Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper job. They said he wasn’t imaginative.

Abraham Lincoln? Well, let’s just say he was lucky they didn’t have 24-hour news in his day.

Get the picture? They failed–miserably. But they didn’t let failure stop them.

I was recently fired from my job. Does it feel good? No. But honestly, it just wasn’t a good fit for me, and I’m starting to think it’s one of the best things that has happened to me. It has pushed me into trying new and different things–like this blog for example.

So, failure is Fabulicious. Because, as you’ll see in this video, if you haven’t failed, you haven’t lived.
