What’s Fabulicious today? Nature. And metaphores.

Here’s a photo of people taking their sweet time walking up a mountainside in China. But to me, it’s more than that. I wonder how long it took to build those steps. And how do you say, “Watch your step” in Chinese. But then again, aren’t we all climbing our own mountains in our own way? Aren’t we a little freaked about falling? Here’s to those of us who are worried, but find ways to keep climbing anyway. If nothing else, the scenery makes it worthwhile.

What do you think of when you see this photo? I’d love to hear your reply.

When I was a kid, used to love catching butterflies bare-handed. They were just about the only insects that didn’t freak me out. Funny what color can do to change one’s perceptions. I still look at them with awe and wonder. Do they have any idea how gorgeous they are? Probably not. And that makes them even more beautiful.
